Production Position Openings
Venture Products, Inc. (VENTRAC) is accepting applications for full-time positions on 2nd shift for FABRICATION, WELDING, ASSEMBLY and PAINTING departments, as well as 1st shift ASSEMBLY department.

Ideal candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast pace, highly flexible, team environment. Excellent attendance record is a must.

Welding applicants must have 2+ yrs welding experience in MIG/pulse. Operators will be trained to program, set up and run robots.

Sales Representative

JOB: Sales Representative

The Territory Manager is responsible for building and developing a strong distributor and dealership network that increases the sales and distribution of the Ventrac product line. This position will support strategic goals of the company and will build and maintain strong relationships with the Ventrac distributors/dealerships/customers. This job involves a relationship based approach that allows us to create a positive and informative experience by exceeding expectations and demonstrating outstanding product knowledge, along with a world class customer service experience with every interaction for each customer lead contact.

Develop a distributors/dealership network in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois,Nebraska, Missouri territories at the request and needs of Venture Products Inc.
Build healthy and productive communication within and outside of Venture Products
Monitor dealers success in each market and increase market share yearly. Prospect for successful dealers in needed markets
Actively solve problems and issues within assigned territory
Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products
Monitor dealer sales to determine effectiveness of dealers sales force
Plan and Coordinate training such as:
Product /Demo training
Programs Implementation
Developing strategies/plans of actions for Ventrac products to be sold within each dealership and hold the distributors/dealership accountable to those plans and outcomes
Attending and supporting distributors/dealerships activities such as tradeshows, open-houses etc.
Confer with potential customers regarding purchasing requirements per contracts
Be field expert in territory regarding marketing and product needs, yearly sales programs, dealer development programs, overall sales strategy and other areas that can improve Venture Products Inc.

Sales experience in the turf or dealership market
Demonstrated long term customer relationship
Must enjoy building and nurturing long term business relationships.
Must have mechanical aptitude
Overall travel is expected to be approximately 50% annually; travel will be spend overnights and some weekends away from home
Must be willing and capable to trailer, load, unload and demonstrate equipment

Welding Robot Operator

DATE: February 25, 2015
JOB: Welding Robot Operator

This person serves as a line leader in the Weld Department on 2nd shift, providing day-to-day direction for the workers to achieve VPI objectives. This person ensures the quality production of products in a safe and timely basis to meet production standards while maintaining welding production duties.

Job Responsibilities:
• Demonstrated leadership skills to drive performance, motivate and encourage direct reports.
• Oversees the work on the line; meeting production goals and quality standards
• Delegate and direct general tasks for workers.
• Create, provide, and/or train workers on specific work instructions.
• QC- Performing QC inspections for finished goods to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Works collaboratively with team and supervisor
• Ensuring WELD work centers are running as required to hit daily targets. Workstations include
o Robot Welders
o Manual welders
• Maintenance
o Ensuring preventative maintenance is performed on machines in a timely manner.
• Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
• Troubleshooting Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Minimum Qualifications:
 Strong communication skills- must be able to give clear instructions
 Self-Motivated individual who understands the importance of time constraints
 Strong Leadership skills
 Ability to work 2nd shift and be flexible to work overtime as needed
 Minimum high school diploma
 Safety conscious individual.
 Must be able to lift at least 80lbs.
 Must be able to work while Bending, squatting, walking or standing for long periods of time.
 The ability to pass drug and criminal background screenings

Industrial Engineer

DATE: February 25, 2015
JOB: Industrial Engineer

Summary: This Process Engineer assesses VPI production processes at all levels, identifies & researches opportunities for improvement, reviews the costs & benefits of these opportunities with relevant managers (e.g. production leaders, I.T. persons, Facilities & Equipment Engineering, etc.), and serves as (co-) project manager for implementing these projects.

Position Responsibilities:
• Identify & assess improvement opportunities in VPI manufacturing processes.
• Research and present proposed changes for approval
• Plan and coordinate the implementation of approved project.
• Interface with other departments to accomplish project goals.
• Help setup and/or perform maintenance on said processes (which may include working with contractors to repair CNC machine, or assessing & installing software revisions, etc.).
• Other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical, preferred) or relevant work experience
• Strong process, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent project and time management skills
• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills – professional, courteous, friendly and helpful
• Successfully demonstrated strong verbal communication
• Excellent computer and keyboarding skills (Microsoft Office, Internet)
• Physically able to safely operate machinery and equipment, including power tools, forklifts and scissor lifts
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects
• Experience performing cost benefit analysis for project proposals
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
• LEAN and/or Six Sigma manufacturing training
• Experience using Solid Edge or CAD 3D software
• Comprehension of PLC’s (programmable logic controllers)
• MIG welding experience and basic metallurgy
