Venture Products, Inc. (VENTRAC) is accepting applications for full-time positions on 2nd shift for FABRICATION, WELDING, ASSEMBLY and PAINTING departments, as well as 1st shift ASSEMBLY department.

Ideal candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast pace, highly flexible, team environment. Excellent attendance record is a must.

Welding applicants must have 2+ yrs welding experience in MIG/pulse. Operators will be trained to program, set up and run robots.

Regional Sales Director

JOB: Regional Sales Director

Summary: The Regional Sales Director is responsible to grow sales and relationships personally and through the members of the sales team. They are expected to grow each Territory Sales Manager (TSM) on their team professionally through coaching, training, empowerment, encouragement and holding them accountable to the expectations that Venture Products Inc. has for our sales team. This position will support strategic goals of the company and will build and maintain strong relationships with the Ventrac dealerships, and the end user. This job involves a relationship based approach that allows us to create a positive and informative experience by exceeding expectations and demonstrating outstanding product knowledge, along with a world class customer service experience with every interaction for each customer contact.

Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
Provide extraordinarily positive leadership within the Sales Department to build an enthusiastic, cohesive, empowered and dynamic sales team that increases market share and meets or exceeds sales goals.
Strengthen the VPI culture as a communication conduit championing information from VPI Leadership to and TSMs and equally important from TSMs to VPI Leadership. Assuring we are all working together without barriers to achieve a cohesive message.
Develops sales campaigns that support the sales goals of the company.
Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales goals of the company.
Leads the effort in defining sales territories, assignment of territories, sales goals, sales forecasts, and define effective systems for VPI sales processes.
Assists in managing sales conference calls and meetings.
Manages all TSMs in assigned region.
Responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the assigned region.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Venture Products Inc, policies/culture/procedures and applicable laws (include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and delegating work; evaluating and reviewing performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems & firing when necessary).
Directs TSM training regarding programs, procedures & sales growth via one-on-one coaching and training.
Analyzes sales statistics to formulate growth plans and to assist TSMs in projections and promoting dealer sales growth.
Spends consistent time traveling (Monday thru Thursday) with each TSM in their respective area to assist them in meeting goals, allocating resources, handle difficult situations with dealers in cooperation with the TSM, strategizing growth, evaluating their performance; and determine needs for additional sales opportunities, prospecting, training and goal setting.
Communicate product and service issues to the company, so that corrective action can occur.
Keeps informed of new training methods, techniques & competitive information pending introduction of new company products to ensure current and effective training programs for all TSMs.
Reviews market conditions to determine to develop growth strategies, customer needs, target customers, territory gaps, etc.
Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
Represents the company at trade shows and association meetings to promote the Ventrac line of products.

• Has at least four years related sales leadership experience and/or training.

• Must have mechanical aptitude and be able to effectively operate/demo our equipment.
• Overall travel is expected to be up to 75% annually.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or resolve complaints from customers, subordinates, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
• Ability to effectively present information to the VPI Leadership Team, customer groups, peers, etc. not limited to but includes power point presentations.
• Ability to work with generally accepted mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Excellent computer and keyboarding skills with all office software programs.

Shipping/warehouse Associate

JOB: Shipping/warehouse Associate

Summary:
The Shipping/Warehouse Associate will be working in the Whole Goods shipping warehouse.


Responsibilities:
  • The Shipping/Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the pulling, verifying, packaging and shipping of whole good orders. Duties will include staging shipments, producing bill of ladings, scheduling, dispatching and the loading of trucks and containers. Other duties would also include restocking and labeling inventory, monitoring the Kanban cards in the warehouse, securing loads appropriately for shipping, in order to minimize freight damage, and warehouse organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must also be able to collaborate effectively with other team members to help meet department goals and objectives.
  • Self-motivated individual who understands the importance of time constraints
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must have basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Internet, etc.)
  • Must be able to read and follow shipping instructions.
  • Ability to operate forklift and overhead hoist in a safe and orderly manner
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and overtime hours
  • Job may require bending, squatting, walking or standing for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift at least 80 lbs.
  • The ability to pass drug and criminal background screenings
  • High school diploma, GED or relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of applicable work experience
  • Fork lift experience preferred
