Venture Products, Inc. (VENTRAC) is accepting applications for full-time positions on 2nd shift for FABRICATION, WELDING, ASSEMBLY and PAINTING departments, as well as 1st shift ASSEMBLY department.

Ideal candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast pace, highly flexible, team environment. Excellent attendance record is a must.

Welding applicants must have 2+ yrs welding experience in MIG/pulse. Operators will be trained to program, set up and run robots.

Fabricator/press Brake Operator

This member of the fabrication team will primarily be responsible for operating a press brake, along with other work centers within the department. 2nd shift


Responsibilities:
  • Candidates must possess a positive attitude and maintain high safety standards.
  • This position requires the ability to process job orders with high precision and accuracy, while working in a fast paced environment.
  • Candidates will need the mechanical ability & spatial recognition skills to produce complex shapes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Territory Sales Manager

The Territory Manager is responsible for building and developing a dealership network that expands the distribution network for the Ventrac product line. This position will support strategic goals of the company and will build and maintain strong relationships with the Ventrac dealerships/customers. This job involves a relationship based approach that allows us to create a positive and informative experience by exceeding expectations and demonstrating outstanding product knowledge, along with a world class customer service experience with every interaction for each customer lead contact.


Responsibilities:
  • o Attending and supporting dealerships activities such as tradeshows, open-houses etc.
  • Developing strategies/plans of actions for Ventrac products to be sold within each dealership and hold the dealership accountable to those plans and outcomes
  • Marketing-Network
  • Programs Implementation
  • Product /Demo training
  • o Plan and Coordinate training such as:
  • o Monitor dealer sales to determine effectiveness of dealers sales force
  • o Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products

  • o Actively solve problems and issues within assigned territory

  • Overall travel is expected to be approximately 75% annually; travel will require overnights and some weekends away from home

  • Sales experience in the turf or dealership market

Maintenance Technician

Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of semi-skilled maintenance, inspection, service, and repair activities to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of VPI. This person will assist in ensuring timely and accurate service, including preventative and predictive maintenance, repair services, and occasional facility projects.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Work in a collaborative team environment on various maintenance, vehicle service, and manufacturing & facility projects to help meet the demands of our growing company.

2. Maintenance: manufacturing, facility and vehicle equipment.
• Perform regular and preventive maintenance procedures for most production and support equipment. This could include (but is not limited to) forklifts, cars, trucks, trailers, air compressors, power tools, fabrication, and welding equipment.
• Documentation of all work completed to assure that equipment and maintenance meets established standards (e.g. VPI, OSHA, USDOT, etc. as relevant).
• Troubleshoot and identify mechanical failures and problems, collect data, recommend corrective action and carry out necessary repairs in a timely manner to restore equipment to operation as required
• Vehicles: perform minor service and repair tasks, schedule outsourced service work and maintain all related records.

3. Equipment: Installation and start up.
• Ability and understanding to perform small equipment installations with minimal supervision.

4. Facility: Assist with infrastructure installations, improvements, changes, etc.
• Ability and understanding to assist with minor and major facility additions, restructures and improvements.

5. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with Customers, Co-workers and management.



Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/equivalent or applicable experience
• Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and meet approval from VPI’s insurance carrier to operate VPI fleet vehicles.
• Good written and oral listening/communication skills
• Self-motivated individual who understands the importance of time constraints & schedules. Must occasionally be available to work evenings and weekends when required.
• Experience in preventative and repair maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical failures.
• Strong ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical and operational information.
• Able to read, understand and interpret prints, drawings and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, Email, etc.
• Fabrication & Welding skills with a working knowledge equipment such as Welder, Drill, Lathe, Shear, Press Break, etc.
• Assembly skills with a good knowledge of using general hand tools.
• Must be able to work off ladders, scissors lifts, etc, at ceiling and roof heights and operate forklifts in a safe and productive manner.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 80 lbs and have the ability to stand, squat and walk for long periods of time.
• Have a basic understanding of industrial electrical systems/codes and perform small scale installs and repairs, 110-480 volt, 1 & 3 phase, as well as 12 volt systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years working in a preventative and repair maintenance program in an industrial or mechanical environment.
• Maintenance training certificates.

Hand Welder

Summary:
The Hand Welder position requires a person to set up, operate, and/or tend hand-welding machines to produce weldments. They must pay HIGH attention to detail and work under limited supervision. They must efficiently perform hand welding. This job involves collaborating with other team members to help meet department goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities: x
Perform hand welding to produce accurate weldments/assemblies. x
Read and understand schematics, drawings, and other work instructions. x
Set up jobs by selecting appropriate jigs, fixtures, weld patterns, components, programs, tooling, etc. and using them correctly. x
Use hand tools/machines/hoists, etc. to assemble parts for welding. x
Load, position, & weld the raw materials (&/or machined parts) correctly in fixtures. x
Operate/tend the welding machine(s), including monitoring of gauges, the appearance of the weld stitches, the sound of the welding machine, & other feedback mechanisms - & tuning them to optimize the welding process for quality & efficiency. x
Conduct quality control checks on your work by inspecting, operating, and testing your finished products/processes to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to required specifications, and make any needed adjustments or repairs immediately. x
Perform cleaning operations (scale & BB removal, etc.) on parts post-weld. x
Perform other supporting processes, such as basic routine maintenance, clocking in/out of jobs electronica
Have basic working knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Troubleshooting determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to work 1st shift
Must be able to pass the Welding test
