Elite Golf Course Upgrades to Better Mowing Equipment

When it came time for Porto Cima Golf Course to upgrade their equipment fleet, Superintendent Paul Naudet wanted something new and better. That’s when they found Ventrac. After only a week of using the Ventrac, they became big fans of the versatility, efficiency, capability, and quality that the equipment offered.Located in the Ozarks the Porto Cima Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, is nestled amongst several lakes and waterways and has its share of hills and slopes to navigate. Other equipment would tend to leave ruts and was prone to get stuck in water-soaked spots. Ventrac made it possible to maneuver around ponds, steep banks, wetlands, and overgrown areas without turf damage allowing them to better maintain the course in ways they never imagined possible before. The Ventrac proved safer and more capable and saved time on mowing but the benefits didn’t stop there.
The Ventrac was the first piece of equipment that was able to be used for a variety of other tasks too such as bunker maintenance and getting to previously inaccessible areas. Having equipment that never gets stuck and doesn’t tip as easily as other tractors is a must for this Ozark mountain golf course.
