This new series of mowers are compatible with the Ventrac 4500 tractors and includes the MS720, MT720, MS600 and MU720 models. These models come in widths from 60" to 72" with options for side and rear discharge, along with an offset version.
Ventrac is very well known for their finish decks and how well they perform. Based on their experience with past mowing decks, they have incorporated the best features and put them into the new decks, along with some additional features based on customer feedback.
Many game-changing features have been made to this new series of decks, starting with the most important part of any deck - the deck shell. Much time has been spent to create an ultra-smooth shell to help prevent grass buildup and for easier cleanup. A deeper shell, with a larger discharge opening improves airflow and cut quality. A rubber discharge chute is easy on landscape and will not dent like steel. Multiple anti-scalp rollers have been added to the deck to help protect the turf.
High strength steel is used for exceptional abrasion and impact resistance. On the carrier frame, more features have been designed into the new decks for extra strength and durability, like the tougher re-engineered spindle design. Strengthened rear roller mounts also help to support the weight of the deck for long lasting durability. The rear striping roller is larger in diameter for a smoother ride, increased bearing life and bolder, more pronounced stripes.
One of the more notable options for the decks is the new hydraulic flip-up kit. With this kit installed, you can flip the mower deck up by using the SDLA operator controls, making it effortless to clean the underside. A new tool-free belt tensioner design also makes maintenance fast and easy. The easy one-lever height adjustment allows users to set a wide range of cutting heights in 1/4" increments.
The 72" off-set deck is offset six inches to the left making it optimal for trimming around obstacles like fence rows, low hanging trees and water landscape. All the side discharge decks come standard with high-lift blades, and low-lift, mulching and gator blades are also available to fit customer’s needs. All rear discharge decks come standard with low-lift blades, but other options include high-lift, mulching and gator blades for those as well.
Other options for these new decks include flat-free tires, a mulching kit and collection boots for use with the Ventrac Vacuum Collection System.
