One Year With A Ventrac, She’ll Never Go BackStacey wishes she would have had her Ventrac 10 years ago. She has never felt safe on any other tractor, and she can proudly say she will never go back to another tractor. Stacey lives in Rough Creek, PA, on 300 acres of land. Located in the Southwest corner of the state, the 10 acres she regularly mows is a rough and uneven property that features a pond and many steep areas.Stacey has had the Ventrac for over a year now; she can mow a lot more areas with it than with her previous tractor. She's able to go places she could never go before. With her various attachments, the areas she maintains include trimming along the pond banks, next to wooded areas, dense brush, and steep inclines on the property.Not only does Stacey feel safer on her Ventrac than any other tractor, but the quality of cut with the Ventrac also surpasses anything she has operated before. She previously dealt with scalping issues on a lot of the uneven areas on the property. But the Contour Mower is unique in the way that three decks float independently and follow the contour of the terrain with up to 40 degrees of motion for each side deck. This ensures the best possible quality of cut while minimizing scalping of the surface.The Ventrac Boom Mower is Stacey's secret to keeping the edges of the pond and woods maintained. The arm of the Boom Mower is easily operated from the SDLA hand control for a 142" reach vertically from the ground and 115" reach from the outside of single wheels. Since the cutting head is a sickle bar, the cut material doesn't go flying in all directions. Instead, it simply falls over. As always, it is easy to switch attachments in minutes to complete another job. Stacey says her Ventrac has definitely improved the quality of work she is able to accomplish on her property. She really loves the aesthetic the Ventrac provides with its striping abilities.
