Worst Case Scenario - Wet Mowing Conditions

We are showcasing wet ground conditions at our facility, something we have had a lot of in Ohio this spring. Aaron explains the key advantages of a Ventrac, such as a light profile combined with the all-wheel-drive traction ability that makes Ventrac suitable for working in these wet conditions.

If you live somewhere where the ground tends to retain water in the spring, you know how important it is to keep working through wet conditions. You need equipment that can keep going when you encounter a wet area on the property and not break traction.

When 80-90% of the property is ready to mow, there may still be areas with standing water or low-lying portions that retain a lot of moisture. And this is where Ventrac excels at keeping you, as the operator, out of sticky situations and able to complete the job.

We are demonstrating what allows dual wheels to float across the ground and why Ventrac's FlexFrame advantage is better than a straight-frame machine. Our explanation involves Dynamic Ground Force and ultra-low ground pressure.

The 4520 is essentially two separate parts, a front half and a back half. And those parts are connected in the middle at a joint that articulates and oscillates. This results in massive advantages like more consistent traction, lower turf disturbance, and better operator comfort.

The FlexFrame of the tractor allows the tires to create consistent and even ground pressure. Aaron also engages the 'Weight Transfer' setting to shift some of the ground force from the attachment to the tractor's front wheels. This action increases the traction ability of the machine.

Aaron talks about the importance of retaining traction in a situation where there is standing water. When you can drive over an area without losing traction and causing the tires to spin, you have a greater chance of protecting the turf and getting the work done without burying your machine.
