The SSV Drop Spreader and Brine System offer an advantage in ingenuity by combining snow removal with de-icing action into one machine. When used in conjunction with the front mounted attachments, Ventrac’s SSV system is the ultimate snow fighting sidewalk machine.

The salt drop spreader system is made of fully constructed stainless steel hardware to remain durable throughout the season. The spreader is built to process salt consistently and evenly including bulk rock salt that tends to clump together as the result of moisture build-up. Salt drops very close to the ground with the spreader located in between the wheels and keeps the 34-inch drop pattern contained to the area of tracking. The speed of the spreader action can be adjusted in conjunction with the speed of the machine to dial-in your application and reduce waste.

The Brine System on the Sidewalk Snow Vehicle allows for another type of anti-icing application. When the storm changes and temperatures drop, the 20-gallon capacity salt brine tank can be adjusted to cover widths of 36-48 inches. The tank is located in front of the operator while the hoses run through the center of the machine and down the sides to spray underneath the operator’s platform.
