This video of brush cutting through wet and dense conditions with the Ventrac Tough Cut shows just how tough and versatile this mowing combination is in real-life applications. Each component of this mowing machine is purposely designed to succeed where other machines cannot.

This plot of land was overgrown with extremely tall and thick grasses and very uneven terrain was hidden beneath. Along with those challenges, the area had experienced heavy rainfall prior to this being mowed which led to some standing water. The articulating nature of the tractor allows it to flex over the uneven ground while still remaining in constant contact with the ground. The dual wheels installed on this Ventrac 4500 offer it the stability and weight distribution needed to advance through saturated areas without sinking.

The star of the show in this video is the Ventrac Tough Cut, which features a wide cutting width of 68” and optional adjustable swivel wheels to provide a more controlled height of cut. Three heavy duty blades cut and drop material evenly without windrowing and the out-front design of this deck cuts the grass down before it reaches the tractor tires. Maintenance of the blades with the tilt-up deck feature makes this attachment a breeze to service as needed and it’s even easier to reach the belts and pulleys with a hinged and removable cover. Made to withstand the toughest conditions, the Tough Cut stands up to its name with extreme-duty cast iron spindles and greaseable bearings.
