What is the difference between Ventrac’s two high-capacity blowers? We’re here at a local park to demonstrate the difference between the Ventrac ET200 Turbine Style Blower and the Ventrac KA160 Power Blower.

The first noticeable difference is that the Power Blower has the advantage of a more compact size. A shorter footprint on the tractor means this blower is easier to maneuver around tight areas near houses, outbuildings or trees. While the Turbine Blower is much longer and takes up extra space in certain settings.

Among their valuable applications, both blowers can be used to remove debris, light snow and leaves from sidewalks, parking lots and other areas. They both offer convenience of operation from the seat of the tractor and hydraulic control of the nozzle direction.

The Power Blower can rotate up to 180 degrees on a horizontal plane, making it perfect for clearing paths and being precise with leaf cleanup. But a notable advantage to the Turbine Blower is that it operates on a vertical plane and can be rotated 360 degrees. This means the Turbine Blower can actually be pointed upwards at trees, buildings and other surfaces to remove debris rather than just the ground surfaces.

Maximum air speed is very similar between the two blowers, but the real difference is in how much air can be moved. The Ventrac Turbine Style Blower is designed to blow massive volumes of air to make clearing larger areas an easy task.
