Sun, snow, and mud can’t keep this Ventrac family from getting spring work done! Our Digital Marketing Producer Mark Kover and his family are featured in this week’s Ventrac in Action video. As Ohio is throwing out all kinds of weather at the Kover’s, they clear the land with the Ventrac and 4 different attachments on a new build property. Wendessa takes the wheel first and shows how the Ventrac and Tough Cut can take down small saplings and brush without losing power or traction in muddy conditions. Next, they use the Power Bucket and Grapple attachment to collect the brush and form piles for the wood chipper.

As a new construction build site, they are required to install a silt fence to prevent sediment erosion into the nearby lake. The Ventrac Trencher attachment makes the perfect tool to install a silt fence. They trench the perimeter with the Ventrac and install the fence, eliminating half the hand labor. And with all the trees that were removed from the property, remaining are approximately 90 stumps to grind down, but Mark takes on the challenge with the Stump Grinder. By the end of the day, the land is free of brush and stumps and ready for a new future build.
